It is truly amazing to think towards the future and to ponder what would be different about our everyday lives. Think 30 years from now in 2041…..
First day I would wake up to an alarm clock that would be made of glass in the form of a tablet. Then I would walk into my bathroom and say shower on temperature Ninety five degrees and it would come on at that temperature. After a quick shower no more finding a dry towel. I say quick dry and a burst of air would come from the shower floor drying your body and hair. I would then get dressed as always but the style has become more edgy and interesting. I walk to my garage and there would be a tube. I would enter a location and it would become a speeding bullet to the school. Rather than taking me 38-45 minutes to get to school. It would take 5 minutes. I would go to class and see that glass is our chalk/white boards. They are interactive for the teacher and students. With that in the desk are small screens that display the board and gives you access to the lesson plans and even powerpoints and notes. We would be learning about the same things. Our subjects only change so much. It is like music, over the many years of its existence it has changed very much at all. Then by the time lunch rolls around you would think that everything would be the same. Fast food become dehydrated and cheaper. I buy a mcdouble and fries and all I have to do is add water and heat it. I see a renewal in jazz music in this time and the classical music is still around, but the modern symphonic music has become more insane and questionable. But in the same sense becoming more interesting. Sheet music will be a thing of the past. All of the band will play with digital music stands that are interactive between conductor and players. Conductors can write on the music that they are looking at and have them see changes and even take note of style and idea from the conductor. Then I would go home after a long day and go to sleep and repeat the same cycle over again.
I like the tube that shots you to school and the air dry shower. The Future looks pretty good to me.
